Breaker Bay

i've been waiting all winter long to have a fire at the beach - i get a crazy nostalgic longing for them!...and finally
at the end of a lovely day, with lavender skies, we took kris's brother sevy to breaker bay for dinner.
a thermos of tea and a kumera and lentil pie. it was so lovely i actually ran about in a circle like a happy dog!

This is amazing. I love the idea of picnicking on the beach. That last photograph - it's like you are intruding in someone's secret hideout.

That last photo is so ... mystifying, I guess. It reminds me of the cavemen days, but in a good way. It's just mysterious; you have LIGHT and you have silhouettes.
